Our base
St Mawes is a unique and beautiful Cornish village with a seafaring history going back more than 2000 years. It has a strong, on-going tradition of sailing, boat building and fishing. Being based in such an idyllic setting always makes for a pleasant return to port.

The Skippers
We operate with two fully qualified skippers who alternate between skippering 'Eve' and managing the office. For longer trips and 'cruising' holidays both may sail, or take on suitably qualified extra staff.

The skippers Adam Purser and Debbie Monk both have extensive experience of supervising novice crews with sail training organisations, on a voluntary basis and professionally. Between them they have sailed many craft from square riggers and classic schooners down to small yachts and dinghies, and sailed as far away as the Faroes, the Baltic, Northern Spain, the Canaries and the Indian Ocean.

Adam, who grew up in St Mawes, has Yacht Master Offshore qualifications plus professional Merchant Navy and First Aid certificates.

Debbie has Yacht Master Offshore qualifications and has instructed numerous outdoor pursuits, from climbing to dinghy sailing and windsurfing. She also holds a First Aid at Sea certificate.
