Programme of Courses One day courses on different aspects of alpaca management are regularly held at the Alpaca Centre. Three different courses are available. Course content is based on the many years experience of farming alpacas accumulated at Syke House and elsewhere, and provides a unique source of information and expertise for the prospective and new owner. Come here for the truth - much of what is written is inaccurate. Bookings are now being taken for the next series of courses, which are arranged on consecutive days so that those wishing to attend two or three courses need not make more than one journey. Talks begin at 9.30am sharp and run until 12.30pm, when we break for a sandwich lunch. The afternoon session is from 1.30pm to 4.30pm with time at the end for general discussion. The collection of notes accompanying the day courses are produced in handbook form for future easy reference. We hope you will come armed with questions and doubts - time will be made to address individual concerns. The Shall I? Shan’t I?
